The Fender Deluxe Active P Bass Special was produced roughly 2005–2016 as part of Fender’s Deluxe Series (Made in Mexico). It combines the classic Precision Bass body with a PJ pickup configuration and active electronics, giving it more tonal range than a traditional passive P-Bass.
