The result of a 1992 collaboration between Chris Martin and luthier Robert McNally, the steel-string Backpacker is a compact, travel-sized guitar that is lightweight, durable, easy to play, and easy to tune, with a full 24″ scale length. The guitar features a unique design in which the neck and sides of the wedge-shaped body are made from the same piece of mahogany, with a mahogany back. The resulting thin shape allows the Backpacker to fit into small places, ideal for taking on the road. Great for campfire sing-alongs, road trips, boat, caravan, or anywhere you want to be able to play, the Backpacker comes with a padded carry bag.
