A classic 1960s point-to-point single channel valve amp in combo format, the ‘EP’ in the model name stands for ‘Extended Performance’ and accordingly this amp has its original heavier duty MSP 12″ 30 watt RMS speaker fitted. The amp section is based around 1 x 12AX7 preamp tube with 2 x 6GW8 (EL34 equivalent) power tubes that provides rich chimey valve tone. The front panel offers 3 instrument inputs (high and low gain), volume, treble and bass controls, plus speed and intensity for a deep tremolo function. This is a one-owner amp, originally purchased together with a Maton console steel guitar in 1967, and only ever used at home. Great tone and Aussie vintage vibe.
