Pacific Guitars Collection – individual or group sale

Pacific Guitars – Here we have six Australian made Parlour size guitars, made in the 1930s and ’40s, at a time when Hawaiian music was hugely popular in Australia, via radio programs and hundreds of ‘Hawaiian Clubs’ across the country.  In that period, the ‘Pacific’ company was set up in Melbourne by Hector MacLennan, producing laminate parlour guitars with Hawaiian themed names and finishes.  Many would have been played lap style with a metal ‘nut riser’.  All shown are priced at $250 each, except the Motuiti and Hawaii models shown which are a slightly larger in size with solid tops; these are $350 each. Each guitar comes with a hard or soft case of the era.  If you ‘re interested in the complete collection please get in touch, we’re happy to discuss a friendly price for the lot.
