1997 Fender American Deluxe Jazz Bass

In the 1990s, Fender enlisted Michael Suhr to co-develop an advanced ‘American Deluxe’ Jazz Bass design. Fender specified AAA quality tone woods, highest quality hardware and an extended 22 fret neck with strings-thru body. Suhr created the multi-coil pickups and active electronics for the new model, which launched in 1997. From that first year we have this outstanding Jazz Bass, featuring a figured Alder body, Rock Maple neck, dark Rosewood fretboard and top-spec light-weight tuners. A one-owner bass, bought in Los Angeles in 1997 and since then in Australia on home and studio duties only. Comes with original case and all accessories.
