1959 Guild CE-100

Guild’s CE-100 debuted in 1956, the first Guild model to have a sharp Florentine cutaway giving easy access to the highest fretboard positions. All of the classic 1950s era Guild appointments are here: the ‘Chesterfield’ pearl headstock inlay, 6 x Waverly tuners, ‘shield’ truss rod cover, bound Rosewood fretboard with block inlays, Franz single coil pickup with vol and tone controls, original adjustable bridge, clear plastic ‘G-logo’ knobs, ‘harp’ tailpiece and travels in its original Guild hard case. A great full bodied vintage jazz guitar with unmarked blonde finish that definitely sounds and plays as refined as it looks.
