1969 Martin 00-18

$7,500.00

1969 Martin 00-18 ‘Lina’

This Martin 00-18 serial number 248197 left Nazareth Pennsylvania in early 1969 bound for a music store in Santa Cruz California, whence it came to Australian singer-songwriter Lina Eve who has owned, played and recorded with it for the past 50 years. A lightweight 3lbs4oz, this classic concert sized Martin 00-18 with Mahogany back & sides, Sitka Spruce top and Rosewood fretboard is loud, responsive across the fretboard and charismatic. Reflected in the price are the replacement bridge with some top overspray, non-original pickguard and mini Schallers. A future owner may wish to address those issues and add to its value in the long term. Comes with its form-fit 1960s red-lined hard case in very good condition.
