1972 DiGiorgio Brazilian “Ladies” Guitar Signorina No16 – Sau Paulo Brazil. With access to indigenous Brazilian Rosewood limited to other countries after 1968, the DiGiorgio ateliar In Sao Paulo made this Brazilian 3/4 size classical guitar in 19772.  Featuring a fine-grained spruce top, round soundhole, bound body, Brazilian Rosewood back/sides and carved peghead. The back of the body has a mahogany and maple stringer strip, and the peghead has an intricate  carved leaf design. The tuners with pearloid buttons on the slotted headstock function well, while the back of the headstock features a “Di Giorgio – Brasil” branded logo. There is a traditional rosette around the sound hole and protective wood binding around the body edges. With no signs of wear or damage, action is comfortable and, due to the Brazilian Rosewood body back and sides, a larger voice than expected from a compact instrument.  A handcrafted, beautiful sounding classical guitar in extremely fine condition, with generic hard case.
