The Amwatts Woodie is replicated from the two original 1946 Model 26 Deluxes #717 and #1006 previously owned and reverse engineered by Amwatts . The original transformers were sent to Mercury Magnetics and replicated, capacitors are by Jupiter Condensor and are authentic replicas of the original Red Astrons used by Fender in the 40’s. Cabinets are made with hand selected high quality woods and sprayed in period correct Nitro cellulose lacquer We decided dovetail joints were far more superior than the angle brackets used on the originals. This is as close to an original as is possible today.
