In the early 1970s, many Les Paul copies – especially black ‘Les Paul Customs’ – were coming into Australia from Japan with a variety of brand names. One of the manufacturers was FujiGen Gakki (who later famously morphed into Fender Japan) and they were the maker of this ‘Bolero’ brand Les Paul Custom*.  So here we have a FujiGen bolt-on neck LP Custom, complete with its original case and sales dockets from Allans Music in Adelaide dating to August 1972.  From the family of the original owner 50 years old, but looking new, this guitar is excellent original condition with no dings and largely unfaded gold-plated hardware. It’s a comfy weight at 3.7kg or 8.2oz and – after a full service, fret polish and set up by us – plays very well.  With its original yellow-lined black hard case and original receipts and other paperwork.
