Eucalypt 5-string Banjo 2006
$1,650.00
Made by Roger Simpson in Queensland Australia, with inlay work by Roger’s wife Anne Simpson, this Eucalypt ‘Falling Leaves’ model is a fine combination of traditional banjo design with excellent materials, and a very high level attention to detail in all components and making. The ‘Falling Leaves’ model name refers to the 8 fretboard position markers, each one a unique leaf capturing the green, pink and sliver-grey colours of Australian eucalyptus trees. There is even a small eucalyptus leaf beetle sitting on the 15th fret leaf! With a low, playable action and plenty of volume from the 30cm body, the beautifully smooth design of the top rim provides for a very comfortable playing experience of this not-too-heavy (4.2kg) banjo. Offered with its blue-lined form-fit hard case – also in pristine condition with key – this is a beautiful quality banjo at a very nice price.
