Since its first release in 1995, the Fender Blues Junior has gained a great reputation for classic Fender valve tone in an affordable, reliable modern form. This Version 3 Blues Junior Limited Edition FSR (Fender Special Release) from 2015 takes the BJ upmarket with its gloss Paisley ‘burst cabinet, upgraded 12” Eminence Redcoat ‘The Governor’ speaker, shock absorbers on the EL-84 power tubes, a Fender ‘dogbone’ handle, black control panel with easy-to-read front-facing text and heavy-duty chicken head knobs.
Providing 15 watts from the 2 x EL84 tubes and 3 x 12AX7 preamp tubes , this amp is easily loud enough to gig with, and has the traditional Fender spring reverb on board. Meanwhile the Master as well as Vol control in combination with the FAT switch allows for saturated valve tone at low as well high volume. This example has had very limited home use, is in excellent+ condition with no discernible wear marks and comes with its original Fender cover.
