Made at Gibson’s specialist semi-acoustic factory in Memphis in 2012, this Midtown Custom is the upmarket version of the model, combining features of a Les Paul Custom in a thinline 15” wide, chambered Mahogany body with a bound Maple top.  Usually seen in Ebony or Sunburst, this is a rare Blonde version. Looking like a slimmed down 335 but with Les Paul performance, this is a very versatile guitar. ‘Custom’ features include split diamond headstock inlay, block markers and as-new original frets on the bound ultra smooth Richlite fretboard. Electronics include a matched pair of ‘BurstBucker’ pickups with traditional Gibson 4 knob / 3 way switching. Completely original with it’s Gibson hard case, there’s some faint buckle wear on the back and two dark spots on the back of the neck which are not felt. Overall Very Good++ condition.
