In 2013 Gibson were celebrating 60 years since launching their legendary Les Paul range and, among other special models that year, created the affordable but fully ‘Made In USA’ LPJ and SGJ (J for Junior) models in a run that lasted into 2014 only.  This SGJ is a virtually as-new example, providing a fabulous full-size, full-scale, light weight, bevelled SG body with a classic late ’50s neck profile and SG humbucker electronics.  The thin satin lacquer saved manufacturing costs on the SGJ, but also results in a particularly woody, vintage feel in the hand. At the same time nothing is lacking from playability with the full C Gibson neck profile and two powerful humbuckers for classic SG tone.  With recent full setup by us, this is a highly recommended USA Gibson for a great price!
