Hagstrom ‘Swede’ Les Paul 2010 – LEFTY

Sweden’s premier guitar maker Hagstrom created their first ‘Swede’ Les Paul-style guitars way back in 1970. Production in more recent times comes from QingDao in China, which also produces contemporary Epiphone guitars. This is a ‘Swede Ultra’ so deluxe features include a bound headstock with Fleur-de-Lis inlay, black Graph-Tech Tusq XL nut, bound Ebony fretboard, and a lovely flamed-maple arched body top in dark ‘burst finish with 5-ply body binding. At 7.87lbs this guitar is light weight for a Les Paul style, and also features a Strat-style contoured body back for extra playing comfort. Its strong Hagstrom ‘Custom ’58 Alnico’ humbuckers sound great, and in addition to the traditional 3-way switch, the small toggle provides one-coil-per-pickup tone options. Overall a very impressive and affordable Les Paul alternative, in as-new condition, with its original form fit Hagstrom hard case also in excellent shape.
