This Maton single-cut 16″ wide 4″ deep laminated arch top guitar is strong, light, resonant and versa.

The asymmetric headstock shape and pencilled Batch Number (B.168) on the interior label places it in the  1960s but looks and performance are as new. At 4lbs 5oz the light weight gives a lively voice acoustically and with its (Martin-style non-adjusable) steel truss rod fitted, the neck is strong and straight; frets are 95%.  The neck set, nut, bridge, tailpiece, and tuners are all in excellent original and functional condition. As this guitar was so playable acoustically, we added the contemporary Gretsch fretboard-end pickup with vol, tone & output inset. The original pickguard is in its original Stamford case(also ex cond)
