Made by one of Spain’s most historic and admired guitar making families, this Ramirez 4NE Classical guitar dates from 2012, and has been played only in the home of its one previous owner. It is in excellent condition, and plays exceptionally well with action at 12th fret showing 3.5mm on low E, 3mm on high E. Made from selected Indian Mahogany body with Canadian Spruce top, the traditional 5-fan bracing provides a balanced voice with strong projection. This is the finest classical guitar we have so far presented in our collection. The guitar comes with its original deluxe ‘Tontrager’ hard case, also in ex cond.
From the Ramirez website:
‘The NE series is the evolution of the E series originally designed by Jose Ramirez III in 1986. Amalia Ramirez developed the NE series in 2008 by updating and improving structural and design details. The 4NE model is the top of the NE series and is made entirely by hand. It consists of a solid Indian Rosewood back and sides, a solid Canadian Red Cedar top and an Ebony fingerboard. The tone generated is sweet, rich in bass, with an excellent projection and reveals all the quality of the materials used.’
