In the 1960s the Japanese electronics industry was leading the world in transistor technology, so Teisco thought ‘why not put a transistor amp inside a solid body guitar, along with a 3” speaker, all powered by a 9volt battery. Oh, and lets give it our (the particular and best variant as made famous by Ry Cooder) goldfoil pickup!’.  Here we have the complete package, completely original,  mint condition solder-untouched, as new TRG1, with its original hard case, also in mint condition. As used by Howling Wolf and Jackson Browne.  Play it with or without and external amp, sounds fabulous!
