The most famous Schaller wah pedal was the Wah-wah Yoy-yoy, a dual-inductor effect from the 1970s. It allowed users to switch between a traditional wah sound and a phaser-like “yoy-yoy” effect, and when the effect was off, it functioned as a volume pedal. It also had a unique activation method, where the effect turned on by pressing the heel down, unlike traditional wah pedals.
