1980 Yamaha Studio Lord 380

As with most Yamaha guitars from the 1980s, this very clean and original Studio Lord SL380 flies somewhat under the radar, offering higher-end quality at a very affordable price. The three-piece Mahogany body has a traditional (also three-piece) carved Maple top with some subtle figure, and front body binding. The one-piece bolt-on Mahogany neck has a full C profile, with Rosewood fretboard, trapezoid inlays and neck binding. Traditional Les Paul  24 ¾” scale, 12” radius, 22 medium jumbo frets. Original Yamaha tuners (two are missing back cover but all functional), ABR style bridge and stop bar tailpiece. Original Yamaha Alnico PAF-style humbucker pickups are super strong, reading 10.4 neck and 11.6 bridge. Original pickguard, knobs, three-way switrch etc. Medium weight for a Les Paul style at 4.4kg or 9.7lbs.  Comes with its original gigbag. A few small bumps on back edge of body, otherwise very clean. A nice quality 45 year old vintage Les Paul style, in close to ‘as new’ condition, at a great price.
