EKO J-56 12 String 1966
$595.00
This EKO J-56 12 string guitar was made in Italy in 1966, just prior to the model being rebranded as the ‘Ranger 12’. These were popular in UK and US recording studios at the time as a practical, playable 12 string that stays in tune. For example, it’s Jimmie Page’s EKO 12 that is layered into the rhythm parts of many a classic Led Zeppelin track. This particular guitar has been with one careful Australian owner for many years. Newly serviced and set up by us, it’s in excellent condition apart from missing its pickguard. Every part is original, from the ‘Cyclone’ brand tuners to the aluminium nut and adjustable bridge, through to the unique EKO bridge pins. Due to the very strong, adjustable neck / body joint design, this 12 string has a smooth, low action and is a delight to play. Comes with it’s original green-lined, brown Stamford hard case.
