Aria Lap Steel c.1970

Modelled on Fender’s classic Stringmaster Deluxe 6 lap steel, this model was marketed in the UK under the Jedson brand, as used by David Gilmour of Pink Floyd.  Cream body, with raised anodised metal  ‘fretboard’ in  (the raised design is helpful for angled tone bar movements), two single coil pickups, volume and tone controls with additional ‘blend’ control to adjust the mix beteween the two pickups, under the hinged bridge cover.  The orange felt-lined black Tolex case (with key), also houses the three heavy duty adjustable chrome legs that screw into angled fittings in the base of body. A one-owner instrument in excellent ‘as new’ condition.
