The Made in Mexico Roadworn series was a project guided by Fender’s Custom Shop team, and the feel of this guitar in hand confirms that. Commemorating the debut of the iconic Telecaster, the Fender Road Worn ‘50s Telecaster is a near-exact replica of the instrument’s very first production models. Featuring a nitrocellulose lacquer Road Worn finish on a solid ash body, maple neck with 7.25”-radius maple fingerboard, and vintage-inspired hardware, this is the spitting image of a 1950s Tele. Equipped with dual Tex-Mex pickups with raw edge just like the legendary ‘50s hand-wound single coils without the massive price tag. At just over 7lbs this is a lightweight and great playing Blackguard Tele!
