Sold – Guild T100D ‘Slim Jim’ 1964

Here we have a cutaway thinline 2” deep maple laminate single bound body, 3 tone sunburst T110D that left the original Guild factory in Hoboken, New Jersey in 1964.  This guitar has all its original features: Mahogany full C neck, Grover tuners, bone 1-11/16” nut, bound Brazilian rosewood fretboard with 7.25 radius like a vintage Fender. Guild ‘chevron’ headstock logo, ‘Chesterfield’ inlay and ‘Shield’ truss rod cover are all correct for ’64.  Two original Guild single coil pickups by Todd Electronics, 4 ‘Guild’ inlaid knobs, black stair-step pickguard with star graphic.  Wooden floating Gibson ABR style adjustable bridge and the factory option Bigsby B7 fitted.  Intact ‘Hoboken’ internal oval label indicating Serial No.34482.  Belt-buckle wear on back of body, otherwise Very Good+ condition.  With black grey-lined form-fit hard case of the era. The precursor to the Starfire range, lightweight with great build quality and playability.
